What religion are you? Why do you follow that religion? How did you come to follow that religion? If athiest or agnostic, how did you arrive at your position?

And will a mod please sticky this?

As for me, I am strongly considering adopting Buddhism as a religion and forming a electic individual spiritual path. I was an athiest for a time, then an agnostic, and finally I am a believer. In what, I have absolutely no idea. I am considering following Buddhism because it appeals greatly to me, and it's premise (the world is fundamentally based on suffering) appeals to me greatly.

GO!

I am an athiest, therefore I lack a religion.

To be frank, I am not bothered enough to give a shit either way.

Christian/Protestant, and I have no problem with saying so. I don't push it on anyone but I will defend my beliefs.

Lacking a religion and unsure whether or not a higher power exists (not necessarily God, mind you!)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnostic_Theism (belief in a possible higher power)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnostic_atheism (disbelief in a higher power because one cannot really know that)
